"Ya Gotta Know the Territory!"
A trip in Eastern Nebraska and North Central Iowa....
atsf2224.jpg A nice matched pair of "bluebonnets" are on a work train northwest of
			Lincoln, NE

bnsf5695.jpg The usual "mixed bag" of BNSF 'AC's lead a coal empty westbound west
 			of Lincoln, NE...

bnsf9397.jpg Clouds were moving in as we caught this new 'swoosh' logo BNSF AC
leading yet another coal empty west of Lincoln.

egrove-yrding.jpg Patched CNW SD40-2 3028 leads MPREA as it pulls into the yard at
			Eagle Grove, IA.
ianr2000.jpg The crew on IANR 2000 was nice enough to keep the train stopped long
enough for me to take this photo in Manly, IA.
Rumor has it, not all the railroaders that live in Manly are that cool...
ice6417.jpg On my way to Mason City, IA, I caught this IC&E grain train heading
eastbound east of Spencer, IA on the old Milwaukee Road. Too bad
			it wasn't morning light..

job51.jpg While waiting for MPREA to yard, I watched as LTZ51 departed Eagle
Grove with quite the "snoot" nose on the point.

nicecaboose.jpg At Mason City, a nicely restored CNW caboose is still used to protect
the point for the many shove moves made at Mason City. A similar
one exists in Des Moines as well..

threecascades.jpg Back to my lack of organization, and my Nebraska trip, three units
still in BN paint could be found on the west side of Lincoln.

trestle.jpg MPREA passes over a dry fill just east of Vincent, IA, nearly ending
its journey from Chicago to Eagle Grove.
up6735mcpfw.jpg Night just about falls on this photo of MCPFW as it pulls into
			residential neighborhoods of Manly, IA.

up3028.jpg This cluttered scene shows patched CNW SD40-2 3028 about to yard,
passing by the massive AGP plant in Eagle Grove. 3028 still sports
small "CNW" initials on the nose.
